Joy Musics is a collective of classically trained professional musicians with extensive experience in performance, weddings, special events and music education. We believe live music should do more than accompany an occasion: it should become part of the memory.
Dr. Yera Lee
VIOLINIST & HEAD MUSIC COORDINATOR, DMA
Based in Mason, Ohio, Dr. Lee holds a Doctor of Musical Arts and a master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Her graduate studies focused on violin performance, with viola as a second major. Her doctoral research explored Suzuki Violin School, Volume 4.
Her performance experience has included serving as concertmaster of Gwa Cheon Symphony Orchestra and principal violinist with Lebanon Orchestra and Xavier University Orchestra, as well as affiliations with Ohio Valley Orchestra, Kentucky Symphony Orchestra and Lebanon Symphony Orchestra. She has conducted SeoHyun Elementary and Middle School Orchestras in Seoul, Korea.
An experienced violin educator, Dr. Lee has also taught in Northern Kentucky University’s preparatory department. Her teaching work complements the artistry and personal care she brings to event music.
